SALEM, Virginia -- The Ferrum College men's and women's indoor track & field teams competed Friday and Saturday, January 17-18, at the Finn Pincus Invitational, hosted at Roanoke College's Cregger Center.
THE BASICS
Ferrum posted several top-10 finishes on the men's side, most notably
Logan McClung and
Darryl Taylor finishing fourth and fifth, respectively, in the 300 meters.
Kayden Ryder finished sixth and
Josh Mills ninth in the 800 meters, in a field of 31 runners.
Deontae Lawson finished seventh and
Jaiden Childress ninth in the high jump, while Na-Shawn Green was eighth in the long jump. Ferrum's 4x400 relay team of
Jordan Smith, Ryder,
Bryson Kidd and Lawson finished an impressive sixth of 23 relay teams.
