FERRUM, Va. -- Ferrum College is scheduled to induct nine individuals into the Sports Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2025. Registration for the event is now open at the above link. Space is limited so fans are encouraged to register early.

The Ferrum Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2025 is comprised of three baseball players, two football players, one men's basketball player, one women's basketball player, a football/baseball player and a women's soccer/lacrosse player. The list of inductees includes:

• Chuck Banks '84 - football
• Heath (Burcher) Deaver '90 - baseball
• Dustin Hamoy '08 - football
• Paul Jaglowski '12 - baseball
• Derek Mitchell '11 - men's basketball
• Ashley Norton '10 - women's basketball
• Stephanie (Perih) Schreyer '08 - women's soccer & lacrosse
• Brett Thomas '07 - baseball
• Russel Walton '90 - football/baseball

This year's nine inductees will be formally honored during an on-campus Hall of Fame Ceremony at 9:30 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, September 13. Registration will be 8:30-9:30 a.m. and the ceremony will take place in the Blue Ridge Mountain Room inside Franklin Hall.

Later that day, the inductees will be recognized during halftime of Ferrum's home football game against Shaw University. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m. at W.B. Adams Stadium. That game will be Ferrum's first-ever NCAA Division II home football game.
