FERRUM, Virginia -- The Old Dominion Athletic Conference has announced the 2025 ODAC Softball All-Tournament team and Ferrum College's
Amber Greiner has been honored. Greiner played in two games in this year's ODAC Tournament, both on Sunday, May 4.
Against No. 18 Randolph-Macon College to open tournament play, Greiner pitched three innings in relief, allowing three hits, no earned runs and no walks as the Panthers lost 6-1. Then in an elimination game with Bridgewater College later in the day, a 2-0 loss, she pitched another three innings in relief and allowed no hits or runs, one walk and struck out one batter.

A freshman from New Kent, Virginia, Greiner appeared in 20 games this season, making 11 starts. She closed the season with a 6-7 record in the circle and a team-best 2.40 earned run average. Greiner pitched in 84.2 innings, striking out 33 batters and holding opponents to a .284 batting average.
Ferrum closed the 2025 season with a 14-24 overall record under second-year Head Coach
Josh Freeman, including a 10-12 mark in ODAC play. The Panthers earned a #6 seed at the 2025 ODAC Softball Tournament. Ferrum will leave the NCAA Division III ranks and the ODAC this summer, reclassifying as an NCAA Division II institution and competing as a member of Conference Carolinas in all sports starting in Fall 2025.
