GENEVA, OH - Ferrum College sophomore
Jahmal Jones proved to be a national force on the track, earning his second Second Team All-American honor in the 100 meters. Jones capped off a stellar season finishing in 14th place, clocking 10.68 seconds. This was one day after finishing 14th in the 200 meters and earning Second Team All-American in that event.
This achievement marks the culmination of a standout debut season for Jones at Ferrum. His performance on the national stage further establishes him as one of the premier sprinters in collegiate athletics and highlights the strength of Ferrum's track and field program.
As Ferrum College officially closes the chapter on its NCAA Division III era, Jones success serves as a fitting final highlight. The college is set to transition to NCAA Division II this summer, bringing new opportunities and challenges to Panther athletics.
