Morris Joins Men's Basketball Staff at Ferrum

FERRUM, Va. – Director of Athletics Cleive Adams has announced the hiring of Cole Morris as Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Ferrum College. Morris will work with Head Coach Pat Corrigan, who begins his fourth season at the helm of the Panther men's basketball program.

Morris comes to Ferrum from NAIA University of Tennessee Southern in Pulaski, Tennessee, where he spent the last year as an assistant coach. He served as the primary recruiter and handled all game day operations for the Firehawks program.

"I'm excited to add Coach Morris to the staff," said Corrigan. "He brings experience coaching and recruiting at the Division II level in the region, and comes highly recommended by successful coaches. His competitive energy and dedication will make an immediate impact on the program."

Prior to Tennessee Southern, Morris spent a year as assistant coach at NCAA Division II Coker University (2023-24) in Hartsville, South Carolina, and a year at NCAA Division III Wentworth Institute of Technology (2022-23) in Boston, Massachusetts.

"I want to express my gratitude to Head Coach Pat Corrigan and Director of Athletics Cleive Adams for allowing me to be a part of the Ferrum men's basketball program," said Morris. "I'm excited to join Coach Corrigan's staff and advance his vision for the men's basketball program as we transition to Division II."

Morris played collegiate basketball four years at Penn State DuBois from 2017-21, and was a three-year starter for the Nittany Lions. He earned his bachelor of Arts in Business from PSU-DuBois in 2021.
