FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- Keith Crump, Derek Mitchell and Marcus Mayo all scored in double figures to lead the Ferrum College men's basketball team to a 65-57 road win this afternoon over Methodist University.

Crump had 19 points on 7-15 shooting.  Mitchell had 17 points and dominated the boards with 15 rebounds.  Mayo had 10 points and five rebounds.

The Panthers found a way to win despite the shot-blocking abilities of Marcus Connor, who swatted 11 Ferrum shots. 

Methodist (8-13, 3-5 USA South) was led in scoring by Alex Meadows, who had 19 points, and A.B. Lehmann, who had 10.

Ferrum (11-10, 4-4 USA South) returns to action Tuesday, Feb. 10, at Greensboro College.  The USA South doubleheader will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the women's game.  The men are set to follow at 7:30 p.m.
