FERRUM, Va. -- Despite having four players reach double-digit scoring, Ferrum College fell 72-60 this afternoon at home to Randolph College in non-conference men's basketball action.
The Wildcats led by as many as 19 points, 49-30, after a pair of free throws by Mike Ehilegbu at 15:14 of the second half.
Randolph's Zach Desgain led all scorers with 20 points, and Derrick Morrow-Woods had 15 points, 12 rebounds and a pair of blocked shots. Ehilegbu had 15 points and Colton Hunt added 13.Â
Marcus Mayo led the Panthers with 16 points, five assists and four steals.Â
Donte Thomas and
Lamont King had 11 points each, and
Nick English had 10 points.
The Wildcats (2-3) shot 53% from the floor and held the Panthers to 39%. Ferrum (2-3) reached the foul line just seven times, going 6-7. Randolph was 18-26 at the line.
