LYNCHBURG, Va. -- Manny Hernandez had 24 points to lead Lynchburg College past Ferrum College 82-70 in non-conference men's basketball action tonight at Turner Gymnasium.
Ferrum led by seven points at halftime, only to get outscored by the Hornets 53-34 in the second half.
Jamal Pullen scored 17 points for the Panthers, while
Brian Clarke had 14 points,
Tyler Mann had 10 and
Alek Ayer had 10.
Lynchburg out-rebounded Ferrum 46-36. Alex Graves had 17 points and 10 rebounds for the Hornets (4-1), and Austen Arnold had 12 points.
Ferrum (3-3) returns to action Monday, Dec. 7, at home against Randlph College. The non-conference game is scheduld to tip off at 7:00 p.m. in Swartz Gymnasium.
