Jamal Pullen had 30 points as Ferrum College edged out Greensboro College 88-84 in a USA South men's basketball match-up tonight at Swartz Gymnasium.
Pullen was 12-19 from the floor tonight, and had a game-high 11 rebounds.
Brian Clarke and
Rashawn Speas had 18 and 15 points, respectively.
Alek Ayer added eight points in the league win. The Panther's trailed 44-39 at halftime.
Devan Gregory had 20 points for Greensboro (6-12, 2-6 USA South). Will Griffin had 13 points for the Pride in the loss. Ferrum out-rebounded Greensboro 42-34.
Ferrum (7-10, 3-4 USA South) returns to action Sunday, February 2, at William Peace University, the USA South double-header tips off at 1 p.m. with the women's game, and will be followed immediately by the men's game at 3 p.m.
