Marvin Wilson led all scorers with 20 points, including five three-pointers, as the Ferrum College men's basketball team fell 80-71 to Lynchburg College in non-conference action this afternoon at Turner Gym.

Lynchburg led 34-32 at halftime, but the Panthers opened the second half with an 8-2 run to take a 40-36 lead on
Alek Ayer's jumper at 17:48. Alex Graves and Omar Kemp converted back-to-back layups for the Hornets to tie the game at 40-40. Lynchburg then built a seven-point lead, but the Panthers battled back to trim the lead to 64-62 on
Josh Dudley's layup at 4:35. Lynchburg closed the game with a 16-9 run for the win. Lynchburg shot 52% from the floor to Ferrum's 40%, and won the rebounding battle 45-25.
