LYNCHBURG, Va. -- Reid Jacoby had a game-high 24 points to lead Randolph College to an 81-66 non-conference men's basketball win over Ferrum College tonight at the Randolph Athletics and Dance Center.

THE BASICS
Ferrum jumped out in front by 16 points in the first half when
Josh Grimard's three-pointer at 12:06 put the Panthers on top 26-10. Randolph closed the first half with a 26-17 run and Ferrum's lead was down to seven points at the break, 43-36. The WildCats used a furious rally in making a 15-3 run less than five minutes into the second half to take a 51-46 lead. Nine points off that run came from Jacoby, including a pair of three-pointers. Randolph widened the gap to 15 points and held on for the win. Both teams shot 48% from the floor, and Randolph won the rebounding battle 38-31.
