How It HappenedThe two teams played evenly in the first half with the Panthers clinging to a 17-15 lead at the 6:20 mark. Ferrum went on a 16-0 run that started with a
Marvin Wilson three-pointer and ended with a Wilson layup at 1:12 to make it a 33-15 game. Wilson hit a three-pointer with 17:22 left in the second half to give the Panthers their largest lead at 42-22. The Pacers battled back to get within a point at 66-65 on Sam Johnson's three-pointer with 11 seconds left in regulation. Wilson and Ayer each knocked down two free throws in the waning seconds to seal the win.
