FERRUM, Va. -- William Peace University overcame an 11-point first half deficit en route to a 72-68 USA South men's basketball win over Ferrum College this afternoon at Swartz Gym.

THE BASICS
Ferrum led 16-5 when Josh Dudley knocked down a jumper at 11:28 of the first half. The Pacers went on a 23-8 run to end the first half in front 28-24. Ferrum battled back in the second half, grabbing a 43-41 lead when Dudley made a layup, was fouled and converted a free throw to give the Panthers a 43-41 lead at 12:40. Ferrum widened the lead to 48-43 with 10:37 left on D'Andre Mullen's free throw. The Pacers closed the game with a 29-20 run to take pick up the league win.
