Pacers Post Comeback Win Over Ferrum Men

FERRUM, Va. -- William Peace University battled back from a 16-point first half deficit to post a USA South men's basketball win tonight over Ferrum College, winning 65-63 at Swartz Gym.

THE BASICS
Ferrum opened a 21-5 lead six minutes into the game, but the Pacers chipped away at the lead and trailed 36-30 at the break. William Peace took the lead for good with 3:59 left in the game on Camden Ferguson's three-pointer to make it 62-61. Ferrum trailed 65-63 with one second left in regulation when Marcus Huff's three-point attempt from the right side rattled in and out. Rashad Reed was there for the put-back, but not before time expired. The two teams combined for 24 three-point baskets, 13 for Ferrum and 11 for William Peace.
