Box Score BREVARD, North Carolina -- Ferrum College's men's basketball team played for the first time in 12 days, posting a 79-66 non-conference road win over Brevard College this afternoon at Boshamer Gym.

THE BASICS
Brevard opened an early 5-0 lead and led 14-7 at the 13:37 mark. Chancey Watson's layup for the Tornado seven minutes later extended the lead to 24-12 at 6:49.
Ferrum responded with a 22-8 run to close out the first half, with Ayden Gamble's three-pointer with 19 seconds left giving his team a 34-32 lead at the break.
The Panthers never trailed in the second half, eventually opening their largest lead, 75-58, on Gamble's jumper with 2:06 left to play.
