WHITE SULPHER SPRINGS, West Virginia -- Ferrum College's women's golf team opened play at the 2022 Greenbrier Women's Collegiate Invitational, being hosted by Southern Virginia University Monday and Tuesday, April 11-12, at The Meadows Golf Course.
THE BASICS
University of Lynchburg shot a first-round 320 to take the lead in a field of nine teams. The Hornets are seven strokes in front of Glenville State College (327) and eight shots better than Wheeling University (328).
Lynchburg's Emily Brubaker leads a field of 61 golfers after carding an ever par 72. Wheeling's Emily Holzopfel trails Brubaker by three strokes. Ferrum's Jiwanan Masoot sits in a seven-way tie for 10th place at 82.
