WILLIAMSBURG, Virginia -- Final round play concluded this afternoon at the 2022 Historic Triangle Invitational, held Monday and Tuesday, March 4-5. Christopher Newport University hosted the event at Williamsburg National Golf Club on the Jamestown Course.
THE BASICS
University of Lynchburg won the team title with a two-day score of 626 in a field of six teams. Bridgewater College finished one stroke back in second place at 627, and Christopher Newport was third at 654.
Lynchburg's Emily Brubaker led wire-to-wire, earning medalist honors after carding a 147. Drew University's Kayla Diaz finished a stroke back at 148, while Meredith College's Monika Vicario finished a close third at 149.
Ferrum's Hunter Tharpe improved to 18th overall with a two-day 179, competing in a field of 36 golfers.
