FARMVILLE, Virginia -- The Ferrum College men's cross country team placed sixth at the Lancer Pink Invitational, hosted Friday, October 11, by NCAA Div. I Longwood University at Longwood Golf Course.

THE BASICS
Longwood ran away with the team title, earning eight of the top 10 individual spots. EMU's Bellamy Immanuel earned top honors, completing the 8K course in a time of 25:43.1, a minute and half ahead of runner-up Benjamin Goulet of host Longwood at 26:19.1. The Lancers' Saad Khan, Jordyn Dillavou and Mohammed Al-Yafee rounded out the top five.
FERRUM FIVE
Josh Mills led the Panthers, finishing 25th in a field of 42 runners in a time of 30:55.
Kayden Ryder was the Panthers' next highest placer, covering the course in a time of 33:45.5 to place 37th.
UP NEXT
Coach Andre Kidd's team will be back in action Saturday, October 19, at the Roanoke College Invitational. Held at Green Hill Park in Salem, Virginia, the race will serve as a preview for the 2024 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships on Saturday, November 2.
