MISENHEIMER, North Carolina -- Four members of the Ferrum College men's cross country team competed today at the Pfeiffer Invitational, hosted at the Pfeiffer University Cross Country Course.

THE BASICS
Runners from 11 teams competed in today's race. The Fayetteville State University dou of Hillary Toroitich and Derrick Kipchumba placed first and second individually. Toroitich finished in 25:50.6, while Kipchumba was just a few seconds behind at 25:53.4.

FERRUM FOUR
Josh Mills led the way for the Panthers with a time of 31.37.9 over the 8K course, finishing in 51st place in a field of 92 runners. Jaiden Childress covered the course in a time of 36:11.5 to finish in 78th place. Also competing today were were Greyson Crouch and Logan McClung, who finished 84th and 86th, respectively in times of 42:39.7 and 42:43.8.

Coach Andre Kidd's team will be back in action Friday, October 11, at the Lancer Pink Invitational. Longwood University will host the meet, which is set to start at 4:30 p.m. in Farmville, Virginia.
