FERRUM, Virginia -- Ferrum College will compete in opening weekend competition of the 2025 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Softball Tournament, being held Saturday through Monday, May 3-5. The opening weekend play will be held at James I. Moyer Sports Complex in Salem, Virginia.

Ferrum is the #6 seed and will face #3 Randolph-Macon College Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. The Panthers and Yellow Jackets played a two-game series earlier this season on Saturday, March 22, at Ferrum. The Yellow Jackets took both games, the opener 8-0 and the nightcap 10-0. Randolph-Macon was at the time ranked #17 in the nation.

The Yellow Jackets bring a 31-9 record and #18 national ranking into the ODAC Tournament. Ferrum comes into the weekend with a 14-22 record. Live stats and video links will be added to Ferrum's softball schedule as soon as they are available.

The winners of each pod being played this weekend at Moyer Sports Complex will advance to the championship series, at the highest remaining seed. In that best-of-three series, the ODAC's automatic berth into the NCAA Division III Softball Championships will be up for grabs.
