HIGH POINT, North Carolina — Ferrum College's men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Vertklasse Meeting hosted by High Point University. In a meet that featured mostly Division I opponents, the Panthers had some impressive performances.

Highlights:

• Jahmal Jones continued his exceptional season with a 6^th place performance in the Men's 200m. Jones turned in a personal best time of 21.11 which currently ranks 4^th in DIII.
• The Panthers 4x100 relay team finished 10^th overall turning in a time of 41.83
• In the Men Shot Put, Elijah Joyner threw a personal best 11.01m.
• Hannah Parks recorded a personal best in the Womens 100m.
• Kyle Holcomb finished 20^th in the Hammer Throw with a toss of 34.59m.
• Jaiden Childress finished 13^th in the Men's High Jump (B) with a jump of 1.80m.

Coach Andre Kidd's teams will be back in action next weekend, April 11-12^th at the Dennis Craddock Coaches Classic in Lynchburg, Virginia.
