LEXINGTON, Virginia -- Ferrum College's equestrian team competed  at the Washington & Lee IHSA horse show. 

Freshman Julie Burnette placed first in Novice Equation on the Flat.   

Junior Abby McGuire placed second in Pre-Novice Equitation on the Flat. 

The Panthers have two riders that qualify for IHSA Regionals which is coming in two weeks. Sophomore Ashly Cutcliff qualified in the Novice division and junior Abby McGuire qualified in the introductory division. 

The Panthers will close out the regular season on Saturday, March 8 at Hollins University.
