FERRUM, Virginia -- Ferrum College's Abby McGuire will compete this weekend at the 2025 Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) National Championships.

The event is being held Friday through Sunday, May 2-4, at Tryon International Equestrian Center in Mill Spring, North Carolina.

McGuire qualified for the nationals by virtue of placing second in Individual Introductory Equitation on April 5 at the IHSA Zone 4 Finals held at Virginia Tech's Alphin-Stuart Livestock Teaching Arena.

A junior from Goodview, Virginia, McGuire is making her first trip to the IHSA Nationals. Coverage will be on the IHSA Nationals website HERE.
